After seeing Karabo’s stand out portrait series Island Gals, which spends time with the all Black women skating group, Polaroid wanted to bring the warmth and spirit of the series to their latest campaign. The result was a documentary project shot all on polaroid, bringing a rawness and authenticity to the storytelling.
